About This Position
ServicePlus Heating & Cooling is seeking a motivated and customer-focused G2 Gas Technician to join our growing team.
As a member of our team, you’ll provide service, maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and installations for residential heating and cooling systems throughout Kemptville, Ottawa, and the surrounding communities. You’ll work with modern technology to complete work orders, communicate with customers, and deliver the high-quality service that ServicePlus is known for.

What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, water heaters, fireplaces, and indoor air quality products.
- Install residential HVAC equipment and accessories as required.
- Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections.
- Provide outstanding customer service and communicate recommendations clearly and professionally.
- Complete work orders, invoices, and documentation using our mobile field service software.
- Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and professional appearance.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergency service.
- Work safely while following company policies and industry best practices.

Qualifications
Required
- Ontario G2 Gas Technician Licence
- Valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and mobile applications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to participate in the on-call rotation
Preferred
- 313D Residential Air Conditioning Licence
- Residential HVAC service experience
- Experience servicing heat pumps, furnaces, air conditioners, water heaters, fireplaces, and indoor air quality products
Schedule
- Tuesday to Friday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergency service
- Overtime opportunities available as required
